This switch is used in different locations depending on the model.

Refrigerator/freezer compressor start device and capacitor. The start device and capacitor provides a boost of power to the compressor during start-up. If the start capacitor isn’t working, the compressor may not start.

Door switch assembly. Two push-on wire connections.

Power cord assembly with two wire connector. *Per factory this new cord may need to be spliced onto refrigerator wire harness with wire nuts.

Refrigerant system filter/drier with service port

Needs to be installed by a trained and licensed appliance repair technician. This item requires very specialized tools and knowledge to replace.
